The wedding ceremony is a sacred celebration that joins a husband and wife together to become a living witness and symbol of Christ’s love for his Church.
It is the official “beginning” to the sacramental life of a couple who willingly agrees to live with and for one another for the rest of their lives.
Schedule a Date
Couples desiring to marry should call Mary Janusz at the parish office (701) 255-4600 to set a date at least 10 – 12 months prior to wedding date. Upon completion of setting the date, a "Corpus Christi Rental Agreement for Wedding Ceremonies" will be created. You will complete the wedding agreement and get it to the parish office with fees/payments to secure your wedding date. After we receive your agreement, you will receive an email with more detailed information including a "Checklist for Pre-Marriage" preparation from Deacon Lonnie.
Planning the Ceremony
The parish’s wedding coordinator, Mary Janusz will contact you to arrange a meeting. She will give you a tour of our worship space and assist you in the preparation of your wedding ceremony.

Natural Family Planning
A message from Bishop Kagan
Out of genuine concern for the right formation of conscience and the responsibilities a couple accepts in married love, the Diocese of Bismarck now implements the following policy regarding the Catholic teachings of love and life in relation to Natural Family Planning. Effective January 1, 2016, all couples preparing for marriage within the Diocese of Bismarck shall attend a full course of instruction in a method of Natural Family Planning. The Family Life Office will provide a list of approved diocesan instructors in Natural Family Planning. This list will be available on the diocesan web site: www.bismarckdiocese.com/nfp
Instructors of Natural Family Planning will provide a Certificate of Completion for each couple who completes the full course. The couple will then, in turn, give the certificate to Deacon Lonnie Grabowska to become part of their marriage file. Attendance will also be verified on Form A for marriage.

FOCCUS Premarital Inventory
Completion of required paperwork and taking the FOCCUS premarital inventory is mandatory. The FOCCUS Inventory is designed to help engaged couples appreciate their unique relationship, learn more about themselves, and discuss topics important to their lifelong marriage. This process is administered the fourth Thursday of each month from 7:00–9:00 p.m. in the church conference room with Deacon Lonnie and his wife Kathy. You just show up, no need to register and you only need to attend once. NOTE: You will want to monitor the bulletin for any date changes. After you complete the FOCCUS assessment inventory, you will be able to review your results with either Deacon Lonnie, a volunteer Sponsoring Couple or in a group setting.
In addition, Deacon Lonnie will assist you in the collection and completion of the necessary documents for marriage such as your baptismal certificate and diocesan paperwork.
