Funerals
Christians celebrate the funeral rites to offer worship, praise, and thanksgiving to God for the gift of a life which has now been returned to God, the author of life and the hope of the just.

Schedule and Plan a Funeral
When a death occurs in your family, please contact the church as well as the funeral home of your choice to make funeral arrangements.
We will schedule the date, time and place of the funeral and vigil service and assist you in choosing scripture readings, music and coordination of the funeral luncheon.
Pre-Planning Funerals
Contact Tammy Schafer at 701-255-4600 to pre-plan your own funeral service. Or, you can click on the Link on the left side of this page and enter your information and Tammy will contact you. Pre-planning gives you time to work with the church to choose scripture, music and other parts of the service that are special to you. This information will be kept on file at the church until the necessary time.
Candle Lighting Liturgy
May they rest in peace...
All families that had a death in the last year are invited to attend a liturgy at 4:00pm Saturday in early November. The names of those who died during the year will be read, and families are invited to come forward to light their loved ones candle. You will be able to take their candle home with you after the liturgy. The parish celebrates this liturgy with you to honor all those who died.
Remembrance Book
Anytime you are in church during the month of November, we invite you to record the names of your departed loved ones in this Book so that we may keep them in prayer.
